First Aid and Lifesaving Combi First Responder Training

This adult first aid and lifesaving course, combined with First Responder Training will be held on Tuesday evening, March 15, Thursday afternoon, March 17, and Tuesday morning, May 17, especially for Merwede Transwijk & Co.
At the end of first aid training, we also cover First Responder Training topics, such as fire and evacuation. So if this is what you need as a business owner, this is an excellent combination. Upon completion, all participants will receive a First Aid and First Responder Training certificate.
The training was designed by several doctors with work experience in the Emergency Department. In this short course you will learn how to act in case of a medical emergency and how to operate an AED.
The topics were chosen based on how common serious conditions are AND whether someone without prior medical training can still make a difference. The course is to-the-point, nicely paced and fun to follow.
We focus particularly on: how to recognize it and what to do. Because all instructors are doctors, they can explain to you the relevance of what to do. What you will not learn during this course is band-aids, piercing blisters or putting on a sling.
The training
The training consists of 2 parts.
Once you register, you will receive an e-learning. You can read it online. It covers all topics and allows you to make the theory your own.
The second part is the practical training of 3 hours, where you can choose from 3 times; a morning, an afternoon or an evening. When registering via the this page, you choose immediately when and where you want to attend the practical training:
Tuesday, March 15 19:00 - 22:00 (Strength Station, Amerikalaan)
Thursday, March 17, 14:00 - 17:00 (Krachtstation, Amerikalaan)
Tuesday, May 17, 09:30 - 12:30 (Europalaan 2)
Per organization, 1 participant may register for the training for free. Merwede Transwijk & Co pays for this participant. Are there multiple participants from your organization? Then you can register with multiple participants and you will receive an invoice of € 75,- per additional participant. This invoice must be paid before the training takes place.
During hands-on training, much time is spent practicing competencies such as CPR itself and using the AED.
Afterwards we will also cover the First Responder Training topics. If that is relevant to you as an entrepreneur, you can also follow that part and receive a First First Responder Training certificate in addition to a first aid certificate.
Because all of our instructors are physicians and co-assistants, they can answer any real-world question.

Teachers
The instructors at Schok & Pomp are physicians or interns. They have experience working with patients during medical emergencies. Thus, they speak from experience and know how to act in these situations. They can also answer questions or examples that do not necessarily belong to the topics.
