Life-saving and first aid for (para)medics

There are currently too few opportunities for Medical professionals to keep their knowledge and skills about life-saving action up-to-date. Among physicians, who do not have to deal with (acute) medical emergencies in daily practice, knowledge about life-saving action is fading.

Do you rotate shifts at the House Doctors Post? If so, you must be able to demonstrate that you attend CPR training every year.

But other medical professionals also need training by colleagues in the medical field:

  • As a dentist, you want to know what to do in case of an allergic reaction to anesthesia in a child?
  • As a veterinarian, you also want to be able to properly help the pet owner who faints in your consultation room, or the assistant who is bitten by a cat.
  • As an occupational physician or physical therapist, has it been a long time since you've had to perform a life-saving procedure? Time to refresh your knowledge!

For all of these colleagues with a medical background, we provide training that is consistent with the profession with relevant scenarios. Our trainings are accredited by most medical industry organizations.

Our e-learning is specially adapted with medical language and the practical training matches the knowledge and thinking level of professionals with a medical background.
In collaboration with medical teachers (Utrecht University), PhD students, assistant surgeons, gatekeepers and pediatricians, among others, we have developed a to-the-point course in life-saving action for Medical professionals. The content is based on the most recent versions of the NHG, ILCOR, Dutch Resuscitation Council and ATLS.
