In the Netherlands, 300 people are struck by cardiac arrest outside the hospital every week. In such a situation every minute is important, because every minute that blood is not being pumped around your organs deteriorate further. It is therefore not only important that bystanders recognize a cardiac arrest in time and call 112, but also vitally important that resuscitation is started immediately.
At Schok & Pomp we believe that every Dutch person should be able to perform CPR just like they can tie their shoelaces. This way you prevent unnecessary loss of life by too late and/or poor CPR in those first minutes after a cardiac arrest.

CPR and AED course
To some, CPR seems very complicated, others may think too easily about it. The important thing is to dare to act in those first crucial minutes when an ambulance is not yet at hand, and during that time keep the victim alive by using the right technique.
Our CPR & AED course is designed to save lives. Developed by experienced doctors from the Emergency Department, Wilhelmina Children's Hospital and Princess Maxima Center, this course teaches you CPR and how to operate an AED.
In particular, we focus on: how to recognize it and what to do. Because all the teachers are doctors, they can explain to you the relevance of acting well.
Our CPR certificates are valid for 2 years.
CPR for adults, children and babies
This CPR course also includes specific attention to the differences between adult CPR and infant and child CPR. For this we will also bring 3 types of dolls. This way you will always know what to do in case of cardiac arrest and you can save lives within each age group. The training is built from the expertise of doctors who use these techniques to save lives in emergency rooms and children's hospitals.
Customized CPR course
This training is suitable for anyone who works with both children and adults. School teachers, orthodontists, sports clubs, etc. Or for anyone who wants to be able to perform CPR. Each training is customized: you will probably have an idea of what specific example you would like to cover during the training. Because all our instructors are doctors and co assistants, they can answer any practical question. We will contact you before the training and discuss specific requirements.
CPR refresher course
Whether you're learning CPR for the first time or you've done CPR before, at Schok & Pomp everyone does the same training. No two courses are the same, so repeat students always learn something new.
