Life-saving and first aid for Swimming Pool Geulle

Description

This First Aid Sport and Adult Life-Saving Course is organized especially for the Swimming Pool Geulle, on June 24 from 18:00-21:00 in the canteen of the Geulse Boys at Andreas Sauerlaan 31, 6243 CC Geulle. The cost of the training is € 64.25. Upon completion of the training you will receive a First Aid and Life-Saving Acting certificate that is valid for two years. You can use the invoice you receive after paying it to try to claim it at the health insurance. See the reimbursements tab on the first aid sports page to see if your health insurance company will cover it.

This training was designed by several physicians with work experience in the Emergency Department. In this two-hour training you will learn how to act in case of a medical emergency. Upon registration, you will also receive access to a preparatory e-learning.

The topics were chosen based on how common serious conditions are AND whether someone without prior medical training can still make a difference. The course is to-the-point, nicely paced and fun to follow.

We focus particularly on: how to recognize it and what to do. Because all instructors are doctors or residents, they can explain the relevance of the actions well. What you will not learn during this course is how to apply plasters, pierce blisters or put on a sling.
