Description
CPR & use of AED
Schok & Pomp
This CPR & Use AED course will be held on Thursday afternoons, June 10 and June 17, specifically for Servaas Bolwerk residents.
The training has been designed by several doctors with work experience in the Emergency Department. In this short course you will learn how to act in case of a medical emergency.
The course is designed so that someone without prior medical training can still make a difference. The course is to-the-point, pleasantly paced and fun to follow.
We focus particularly on: how to recognize it and what to do. Because all instructors are doctors, they can explain to you the relevance of what to do. What you will not learn during this course is band-aids, piercing blisters or putting on a sling.
The training
The training consists of 2 parts.
Once you register, you will receive an e-learning. You can read it online. It covers all topics and allows you to make the theory your own.
The second part is the practical training itself on Thursday, June 10 or 17, from 3:00 - 5:00 pm.
During hands-on training, much time is spent practicing competencies such as CPR itself and using the AED.
Because all of our instructors are physicians and co-assistants, they can answer any real-world question.
