Life-saving action education for high schools!

Schok & Pomp 's mission is to provide as many residents of the Netherlands as possible with knowledge about life-saving action. One of the ways to achieve this is by offering the course to students at secondary schools. Partly after its successful training at the Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht, Schok & Pomp Schok & Pomp is convinced of the added value of teaching this course to this target group. However, it is important that medics themselves provide the course; after all, teachers are busy enough.

Unfortunately, many schools do not yet have the financial ability to facilitate a quality life-saving course at their school. So this needs to change. Schok & Pomp , with the help of dozens of medical researchers and medical students affiliated with the UMC Utrecht, will conduct research into the added value of a life-saving action course at secondary schools on overall health gains and its impact on healthcare costs.

Once the results are known, we will present and hand them over to those involved within the Ministries of Health, Welfare and Sport/OCW.

For this reason, we submitted our plans to Pia Dijkstra, who looks forward with interest to our results.
